2018 - Forgotten about the blog

This morning received an email from Google pertaining blogger subscription. When I look at the name of the blog sound very familiar.

OMG!

I have forgotten about this blog for almost four years. My last post in 2014.
So much event/memories in the last four years.

Anyhow, thank you, Google for reminding me.

Adding a signature to your posts...

Hye Beauty, 

A quick way to personalise blog posts is to add a signature at the bottom.

To start, you'll need a jpeg of your signature saved to an image hosting service. (You can create one in Publisher, Paint, Photoshop etc or on free image editing sites like PicMonkey)

1. Make your signature using your favorite Photo Editor. Im using Cool Online Tool. 

2. Upload your signature picture to your favorite image host. I use Tiny Pic to host of my images.

3. Copy the direct link of the image and paste it within this code: 

<a href="link to your blog"><img src="link to your image" /></a>

4. Then next to "post template" click "add" as per the screenshot below...

This will open up a box. Any coding that you put in here will be applied automatically to any future posts. (It won't change any previous posts)....

You'll need to copy the code in the box below. Click in the box and then press CTRL + A followed by CTRL + C...

Once you've pasted this code into the box for your post template, you'll need to replace the highlighted blue text with the URL for your blog, and the URL for your signature jpg.

DO NOT delete or replace the speech marks. They need to stay! E.g.

<a href="https://amoyjournal.blogspot.com/"><img src="http://i59.tinypic.com/2e3muzo.png"/></a>

To paste the code click in the box and press CTRL + V. Then replace the text I've indicated, with your URL's. You can see in the screenshot below. Once you're done, click "save settings" in the top right hand corner of the page....

The next time you come to write a blog post, your signature will be there waiting :)
